Re: (xteg01)
able to tune your fuel curve some, i got better gas mileage, and added fuel can mean faster car if tuned right. also the right fuel to air ratio means better combustion which leads the things i said before.

If your motor is sucking in more air than stock via intake, exhaust, header, headwork, or turbo/super, then you gotta give it more fuel. FPR is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to do it.

I turned mine up a tad more than what it was before I cut mine open (hope you have a PSI reading before you cut it open). After I changed my fuel pump, my 92 GS-R is happier 2 PSI lower.

Re: (teg-your-it)
its all in the instructions that b&m send to you. when you get the kit just read the instructions first. and you are supposed to get a psi reading before you put the fpr on. mine was 46psi idle and 56psi wot stock. now its set at around 50psi idle and 60 psi wot.

Are you sure the shop was talking about fuel leaking?
That part does not contain fuel, but still under vacuum. Its been a long time since I installed mine, but I kind of recall a red O-ring with the B&M .

the fpr does not contain fuel but it does sit on the fuel rail which the pressure and not a good seal can make that leak.

with all this said every engine is different along with air flow--so many people are running more rich than stock and set the fr according to the butt dyno--
Fuel rail and fpr would not really help a car with basic bolt-ons --

Depends on what you consider basic bolt-ons, a fpr will help.

Re: B&M fuel pressure regulator... (Vtecfool)
if not done right it can leak fuel. when i first did mines i cut the stock regulator a little more than i was suppose to so it leaked i then just tighten the bolts as hard as i can and dint leak ran it for a while around my block and no problems, so then i took a trip about 30 miles away from home to go pick up a single cam motor and on the way back the sucker was leaking like crazy. good thing the stock single cam regulator was the same as the integra one or else it would have had to pay a tow truck. i cut the single cam reg the right size this time and till this day no problems. but overall just make sure they cut your stock reg just like the instruction saids or else you ll have problems

Re: B&M fuel pressure regulator... (hotintegranights)
for some reason on my b&m fpr it wont let me adjust anything!? its set to the lowest setting and my fuel pressure is still at 42 idle!? is this due to my 255 lph fuel pump? ya as i adjust the valve thingy it wont go any higher either? ive also noticed that as i hit wot the pressure goes down!? im all messd up?

Re: B&M fuel pressure regulator...
Put the stock regulator in a vise when you cut.
Make sure you are using saw blade for metal.
Check for left over burrs after cutting.
Would also recommend gauge set that mounts on fuel filter.
Also make sure top vac tube is secure after install, cut cm or so if hose is stretched at end.
