Annoying Windows
My windows in my 94 RS are a being a pain in the ***! I just purchased the car and when i bought it they were fine for the first day and after that they have been having trouble rolling down. i press the button and they go down about 2 inches normal speed and then they are slow then about the window is almost all the way down its speeds up to normal speed again. Windows have no problems what so ever rolling up, just down. Any ideas??

They arent falling off track , theyre just slow rolling down. It happens 9/10 times that theyll roll down slow. Sometimes they roll down at normal speed... Im so lost as what to do.

yea i understand that, mine went slow for a long time, im guessing that the lack of lubrication is what made it come off the track. the little black plastic ball that goes on the track broke. I assume if they were properly greased it wouldnt have done that.

yea take the door panel off and some kind of lubricant and spray the tracks down. it should help it out. mine were started to going slow, so i took off the door panel, bought some i think it was silicone lubricant, and sprayed both sides of the tracks down. and it got a lot better.

Re: (jonshonda)
I took the door panel off and greased the rails and the little roller inside the rails. That didnt help... I was looking around while moving window up and down and realized it was getting hung up on the vertical rubber tracking inside of the door. Kinda like having sex and the girl isnt wet So i sprayed some silicon onto the rubber tracking and its rolling up & down fine now. Thanks everyone.
