Re: 98 integra lights screwed!!! help
i couldnt tell you the exact wire it was but it was on the driver side turn signal harness. i just tested with the DMM, but i think you can pick up a turn signal harness for cheap. Im pretty positive thats your problem and not your combo swith.

Re: 98 integra lights screwed!!! help
OK, lets start again...
Do the head lights work, high and low beams?
Does the flash to pass work?
Do the signal lights work, front and rear?
Do the brake lights work?
You said, there was no power at the park light fuse, [fuse 32 - 10A], when park/head lights were on, did you test for power on the red/green lead coming from the CLS?
Did you replace the CLS with a new one, a known working one or a used one? 94

Then there is a connection problem between the CLS and the fuse box, or the fuse box itself is the problem.
Please confirm that you checked the park light fuse for power with the head light switch on. 94

Re: 98 integra lights screwed!!! help
If there is no power at the park light fuse the problem must be the CLS or wiring between the switch and the fuse box or the fuse box itself.
Have you checked for power on the red/green at the CIS yet?
You need to do the above^^^ to trace the problem. 94

Re: 98 integra lights screwed!!! help
Wow, mine now has the same exact problem. I recently finished a wire tuck which included relocation of both parking light harnesses so I'm going to start the DVOM fun in that neighborhood.

Re: 98 integra lights screwed!!! help
I had the same problem as 1998GsRIntegra, the parking lights going on when i hit the brakes. Found out it was the rear left taillight bulb. I have had to replace it about 3 times in the pass 6 months. And now my left brake light isnt working again. I would think there is a problem with the ground or a way water is getting through to the bulb and shorting it but I have had problems with HID kits where my passenger side ballast keeps going. Is there anyway these two problems correlate with each other or is my wiring just screwed?

Re: 98 integra lights screwed!!! help
well just to help some other people I have a 98 integra that someone ran a wire to power the tail lights and it ended up to be the B+ fuse under hood. But for your tail light there known to have bad taillights gaskets witch let water in. I’m about to drill a hole in my spare tire well since I can’t seem to fix it. But for your headlights hid you should run a relay to power them. I had to switch and swap many hid around before I finally got a relay installed and no more problems at all. Except the connection was bad ground contact was touchy so I put new spade terminals and all fixed
First, KYS for bumping an 8 year old thread, with information that no one on here is going to care about....
Second, for the taillight leak:
1. Please don't drill a hole in your spare tire well, thats ******* stupid lol.
2. Buy new oem taillight gaskets (yes I know they're expensive).
3. Remove your taillights.
4. Clean the **** out of the taillights, in and out, then clean the **** out of the body mating surface.
5. Drill a small hole in the bottom of each light chamber, to allow water to drain out to the outside of your car instead, of the inside of your trunk.
6. Seal the top and sides of the of the taillights with black rtv sealant and you should be good to go.
I had to do both this and replace the air intake cowl gasket, on my 2000 integra gs last year, as it was filling with water badly. After fixing, I haven't had a drop of water in my trunk or floor since.
