98' GS-R Emissions fail?
I just failed emissions for the third time in 2 months.
statement reads: "On-Board Computer:
Unable to test the vehicle- following readiness monitors were not set:
Catalyst
Evaporative system
Oxygen sensor"
Everyone just told me to drive it to reset the sensors. I drove it a lot. Mostly at half throttle. and just failed again. Whats the deal!?!?! please help!

You haven't driven the car enough after resetting the ECU.
However, you have a 98, and they shouldn't need to plug in to the ECU for a smog checks, thats only for 2000 and newer cars...

do not unplug the battery that is why the monitors are not set! if you do you will have to will have to drive it all over again. get some city and highway driving the computer takes certain parameters to set the monitors.

I don't know why but I remember someone saying that you need to drive something like 200 miles before it sets itself.
