95 Integra LS No Turn Signals Hazards Work
Ok, I just traded my hatch for an integra. The turn signals do not work. They do not blink in the instrument cluster. All of my headlights, parking lights, and tail lights work. Interior lights work. Fuse is not blown. Hazard signals work fine.
I read a topic where some guy said he fed direct power to a green with white wire in the front of the fuse box and this solved his problem. First, any ideas what it could be. Can't be flasher if my hazards work right? Not sure if it is actual turn signal lever or something else. Any help is appreciated, let me know if I haven't supplied correct or insufficient information. Thanks again.

that would also be my first thing to check out... no need to ghetto rig it man

Thanks guys. I will try this. Yea, I don't want to ghetto rig this thing. I have spent 3-4 days undoing the ghetto rigging of the previous owner. They trashed this poor teg. She is in better hands now though.

Okay, so before I tried changing out the signal lever I wanted to test for power to it. There is no power running to the signal lever. There are no fuses blown any where, and like I said hazards work. This is very weird.

No the fuse is where it is supposed to be, that is unless someone has changed the fuse indentification chart on me. I'm not sure what these idiots did to this thing, but they definitely didn't know what they were doing and messed something up. I am looking over the schematics and am going to try and track down a short tomorrow.

Thanks man, yea I would much rather fix a problem that no one has touched. Much easier to diagnose and repair. But, when someone who has no idea what they are doing then try to repair it, it only makes it worse for the guy who actually has to fix it. There is no telling what sorts of wires are crossed or cut in this thing. I really, really hate tracking down electrical problems. Thanks for your help thoughts though.

Turn signals also won't work if your hazard button has a short in it/is faulty. Borrow a friends and try that too. I'd also suggest looking at all the fuses. You would never think that the cluster and parts of the tail lights are on the same fuse. But my money is on the hazard button.

So wait, the hazards work, but the signals don't???
Edit: It would help to read the whole thread. Sounds like the turn signal stock is bad... but I'd Ohm out the fusebox and check for power there.

Yea, hazards will blink until the cows come home, but signals don't blink inside cluster or outside of vehicle.

Edited original post...
People get all weird when there's been an alarm wired to the car with the wiring between the steering column and the fuse box. I'd pull that bottom panel off and look at the wiring right there and see all the BS they did under there, and check the wires running to the signal stock. Multimeter is your best friend here. Don't get discouraged, it should be pretty easy to locate the problem.

I tested for power at the fusebox for the turns, and there was no power there. Key was on at the time as well, even tried turning the signals on and still no power at the fuse.

Re: 95 Integra LS No Turn Signals Hazards Work (vietnamezerice)
So, just to update you guys or anyone else who might have this problem. I could not track down the source of what is wrong with this thing but I replaced the signal lever today and the flasher anyway. No power at the fuse still, lights no blinky. I ran an inline fuse jumper from an extra power blade on the fuse box to a green with white tracer wire on the plug going into the fuse box. I made sure to pull power from a blade with power @ ACC and not hot at all times. Don't need my signals working all the time. Anyhow, problem is remedied but I wouldn't say solved. Not sure what the original culprit is here, but atleast my turns will work until I can trace down the real cause.

Yea, my lever was good to begin with. Just had no power running through the circuit to the lever itself.

Re: 95 Integra LS No Turn Signals Hazards Work
Is there a plug/harness that goes somewhere? It has a bunch of green colored wires going into it. My turn signals don't work and used to before my stereo caught on fire (during a hard shift - stupid Circuit City.) Anyway - ever since I got the car back from a shop I have no turn signals.. I looked under the bottom cover of the dashboard this morning and notice I have a plug/harness just hangin' around. I looked around for something to plug it into and maybe I am just too stoned to see it. Tho my car is a 97 GSR - I am sure this wiring isn't any different from the 95 LS. Help anyone? :D
