94 integra GSR no power to fuel pump
My car is a 94 Integra GSR.. So everything started after I installed my 255 walbro fuel pump, after I installed my 255 walbro and started it just fine. Took it for a test drive down the street, car starts bogging and decelerate so I pulled over and checked my car. Car was still running atm but roughly then car died after 2 minutes. Tried starting it many times but nothing.. Pulled ecu out and popped it open.. Burnt ecu.. thought that was the issue so I put in my brothers 0bd1 gsr ecu and still no good.. thought my main relay could have gone bad, so bought a new one and swapped it but still no start. thought it was my fuel pump.. so i turned the key in position 1 and 2 don't hear the fuel pump priming. Grabbed my 12v test light and test the fuel pump wires yel/green that connects to fuel pump no power and even tried testing it while cranking/key position 1 and 2. Test the main relay connector the only running hot is the wire yellow on the main relay connect. From there checked all my fuse with test light and pulled every one of them for eye check, all seems good... Don't know what to do anymore.. Help would be awesomely appreciated.. Lost my dd car.. now i'm car-less..

Re: 94 integra GSR no power to fuel pump
have you checked the pump ground? i thought i remembered reading somewhere the gsr pump ground was notorious for corroding. maybe i'm wrong. it would explain the burnt ecm though. fcm will chyme in with the correct troubleshooting procedure, im sure

Re: 94 integra GSR no power to fuel pump
When you checked the main relay, was the relay plugged in (it should be)? What was the key position (should be 'on')? There is no yellow wire so I'll assume you were looking at the yellow/white.
With the relay plugged in and the key in on or crank position, you should get 12v at the yel/grn wire (same wire that feeds the pump). If you don't get anything, check the blk/yel wire. You should have 12 v there. If you don't, check fuse 24 (20A) in the SRS fuse block, which is the block of fuses on far right side of the under dash fuse box. Check for voltage (continuity is better) on both ends of the face of the fuse; a visual inspection is insufficient. The other fuse to check is #31(15A) in the under hood fuse box. |

Re: 94 integra GSR no power to fuel pump
it has to be either a bad pump, bad relay, bad ecu,bad ground, bad fuse, bad wire. theres not a whole lot to it.
