92 DA cooling system problems
I have a 92 LS, I just recently installed a new thermostat because my lower hose wasn't getting hot and my temp Hague was fluctuating. I replaced it and now my gauge works fine.but the lower hose will still not get hot. This.morning I check to see if there was air in the system and I opened the bleeder valve, coolant came out when I had the cap.off but when I put the cap.on and let it warm up again the nothing came out.of the bleeder valve. Hose will still not get.hot. Any ideas what this could be? A faulty thermostat? the fans won't kick on also but haven't tested to see if it a bad motor yet.

does the lower hose get warm? or does it stay cold? it shouldn't get hot. just warm. where does the needle on the gauge sit?

Re: 92 DA cooling system problems
Sounds like air in the system. You need to purge it. When its warmed up and cap is on coolant should come out of the bleeder.

Re: 92 DA cooling system problems
While it is running bleed it? The temp gauge stays in the middle, Regs operating temp.

yea to bleed mine ive just left it running and cycled the bleeder periodicly to bleed air as it got trapped in the system.
