1g teg stripped down weight?
how much weight would I remove from a 1st gen. integra? (88 or 89 with an eye toward a road-race track car build) I'm looking to make this a rolling shell without CF or fiberglass replacement panels. Keeping the whole chassis the origional metal parts....so removing the whole interior and sound insulation materials would net how much weight reduction? stock weight i believe is just over 2300 lbs....so it could be down to what by doing the above?
thanks for the information. it really will come in useful.

Re: 1g teg stripped down weight? (robAP)
Who knows.
My first car was an 87 integra. (2 years ago)
I liked it./
But it wasnt practical for a DD if I wanted to do much.
In order to do a simple B16 swap, you have to remove PS/AC
and hammer in the uni-body to get the alternator to fit.
Who knows, bye it. Strip it and weight it,
good luck.
