Default 1999 Acura Integra speedometer and odometer not working

I have a 1999 acura integra the speedometer and odometer don't work. I have replaced the VSS twice with brand new parts and still no change. I have changed instrument cluster three times and still not working. oh and by the way it tis manual transmission. I also checked the wheel on end of piece that spins in transmission and it is fine. What would cause this problem? I also tried to hook a drill up to speed sensor and spin it with sensor plugged in and key on but no change.

So when you said you replaced the VSS and all the parts, did that include the Speedometer Cable? Maybe the cable is snapped in two?

I've got the same problem. Instead of spending time and money I downloaded GPSHud from Google play store. Problem solved !

a 99 doesn't have a Speedo cable.

double check with a multimeter that the vss is getting power and putting out the pulsed signal. Otherwise, maybe the cluster is shot or the wiring is incorrect.
