1995 GSR Exhaust Replacement

I just purchased a 95' GSR that needs an exhaust after the converter. I just went to the exhaust shop and they said $350...... there's no way in hell. I was looking on ebay for just the piping and then just get a stock axleback. Has anyone ever done this? I just dont feel paying $350 for a stock shitty exhaust is worth it.

you can probably get a used stock exhaust from the cat back for a lot less. Try junkyards or online classifieds.

Well I was reading on here that integra catbacks will bolt up to each other depending on the trim and year. My understanding was that a RS, LS, GS will all bolt up to one another but I'd need a GSR trim catback that was before 99? Thought it said in 00-01 they changed the exhaust a little bit.

You are correct. The length is slightly different in the b-pipe. Even if you were to get one from a newer year, just bring it to an exhaust shop and have them extend the b pipe a little bit to fit. Keep checking ebay, craigslist, and the classifieds here and you should be able to find a stock or aftermarket cat back system for pretty cheap. You can buy the catback piping off ebay, but the piping diameter is different than the stock gsr axle back and may not bolt up perfectly since the stock axle back flange uses a donut gasket. Plus, this would cause a bottle neck affect. Try looking for a complete cat back system if you're going to be spending a little bit of money.
