its bad to coast in nuetral for gas mileage as idle consumes alot of gas, you are supposed to coast in gear to get the best mileage
btw i average about 26mpg on a basemap for my turbo integra, looking to get into the mid 30's with a highway tune to help compensate for the high gas prices
4.29 for 93 here in pa

Not saying you are incorrect, but do you have any proof to back that up?
I figured coasting in neutral would result in better MPG due to hondas/acuras not using much gas at idle.. When your in gear in higher rpms wouldn't you consume more gas?

when your in gear and not on the gas the injectors are completely shut, whereas if your in neutral and coasting the injectors are keeping the car at idle which will consume more gas

i get like 250 a tank.
90 integra
b18b w/ like 30k on it
b16 cable
i think if i get an alignment i should get more miles, but i don't think it'll affect it that much

fill your tank up, reset your trip odometer, drive around till almost empty and fill up, divide how many gallons it takes to fill it up by how many miles you drove
examply i drove 266 miles and filled up with 10 gallons, i got 26.6mpg

Your fuel economy sucks because of your large exhaust on a very mild setup...not a good combo there. I would expect that compression for FI, supercharger on the way?
Thats probably not tuned either.
Average (90-100% city) = 26mpg (280 miles a tank)
City = 25-26mpg (270-280m miles a tank)
Highway = 35-39mpg @ 65-67mph (around 3k rpm for LS trans)
Record = 55mpg going from Bay area to LA, CA (550 miles on a tank) Cruise control @ 67mph
Those extra mph really dont get you anywhere...so why speed? Btw, I did a few (3-4) 130mph+ pulls on I-5 going down to LA...still got the fuel economy posted above. I wish I had kept that receipt...

Re: (jentee)
stock 97 ls stock with k&n drop in and ngk wires.
130k miles.
MPG:
city: 24-26 mpg
highway: 30-33mpg
mixed: 27-29mpg
I drive avg 5 mph over speed limit in the city, and about 75-80 mph on the freeway... I consider my driving conservative for so-cal.
things that can help gas mileage:
keep tire pressure at max tire psi.
make sure your alignment is straight, jacked up alignment causes extra friction and hurts your mpg by like 1 or 2 mpg.
change the fuel filter every year or so, I was amazed how much sludge was in there the first time I changed it. OEM honda fuel filter is about $20
change spark plugs O.E. works fine for a stock DD... I don't notice much a difference when I buy expensive spark plugs.
clean your car out and leave the extra crap in your car at home.
87 $4.50 gal... on base $3.55 gal. gotta love working for the government.

dc 4-1 header, skunk2 60mm catback
average 30mpg in town. 33 mpg when i had very few races and managed 26mpg when i stomped on it all the time.It hasn't been on any roadtrips yet so i dunno the interstate gas mileage.

LS-V
CTR Head, pistons, b18a bottom, AEM/DC/Apexi WS2
GSR Trans
I always get 29 mpg, no matter what I do. I've never gotten above that, but 85% of my driving is highway @ 80-85 mph. I should try the backroads for a week, see what happens.
