One of the things we always like here at Honda-Tech is a well prepped and well built track day car. When it’s something a bit less than usual, we like it even more. An Acura TL powered by a J32 and ready for competition is something we really like.
We found this ride on a Facebook page that focuses on race cars for sale. Rex Villa, the seller, has made sure he focused on the special aspects of this car. It is claimed to be the lightest TL currently being tracked, weighing in under 2600 lbs. As well it’s one of the only pro-built privately owned ’04-’08 TL track car in the country. Built with NASA’s new TT4 and ST4 rules in mind, the weight was kept light in order to make it easy on tires and brakes.
However, as it usually happens, life has forced a sale of this car. A growing family, and dwindling garage space have made the sale something he wishes wouldn’t happen, but knows it’ll end up with someone who can carry on with his TL build.
