Honda welcomes you to the 2017 New York International Auto Show.

We were invited to New York to attend the auto show and see the latest and greatest from all of the manufacturers. Naturally, Honda had a sizable presence in New York, so we grabbed a quick 50 or so photos to showcase the goods. If you’re going to the show, here is what you need to look for.

So many Honda Civics! A Civic for every level of speed.

First up is the 10th gen Civic Si. All-new for 2017, the latest Si has the new direct-injected L15 turbo engine. For New York, they brought out a coupe version in blue.

Of course, the big brother, and star of the show: the Civic Type R was also in attendance. Draped in the requisite Championship White paint scheme, it received a lot of attention. One can’t help but feel a bit sorry for the Si and team behind it, as it was completely overshadowed. Oh well, let’s drool over the details of the newest hot Honda to wear the Type R badge.

So much Type R goodness. May as well call it the “Hype R” with how excited we are about this thing.

Wrapping up our Civic coverage are the volume sellers: A touring, sedan and a Sport hatchback. We recently drove the Sport hatchback, actually in the same gray color, and it’s fantastic.

Our favorite freeway cruiser, the V6 Accord was also there.

We love the V6 Accord Coupe. Our own Manuel Carrillo III (who shot these photos) drove one in a very similar shade to this and swooned. Easy to see why, the J35 V6 is charming, and the Accord has a fantastically cushy ride quality to soak up the miles.

The family haulers were also in attendance.

If you’ve got the need to haul the family and kiddos around, Honda doesn’t disappoint. The CRV, and Ridgeline were there. The latter of which was sporting the “Black Edition” treatment, which looks sharp.

The renovated Clarity brings attention of the case for hydrogen.

Having ditched the “FCX” moniker, the new Clarity (Fuel Cell) pushes Honda’s green initiative. Honda continues to press forward with hydrogen fuel cell technology. With an electric motor powered by hydrogen, this may be the “greenest” of the green vehicles currently on the market.

Let’s wrap it up.

For the past few auto shows, Honda has brought out these vehicles, in an attempt to garner some #brands cache. It may seem a bit corny, and certainly a bit of the stretch, but man these things are cool. A Honda Repsol race bike from Moto GP; a Honda Indy car and this concept vehicle are the final touches to the show.

We appreciate the bike and the Indy car, obviously, but we are way more excited about the concept. In a nod to the Ariel Atom, and Caterham types, Honda has trotted out this fantastic concept. The minimalist two-seater is swathed in carbon fiber, utilizes a double-wishbone suspension setup on a tube chassis, and is shod with Bridgestone’s finest street-and-track rubber: RE71R. It’s great, and we hope they make something of it.
