MotoGP is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. Furthermore, it’s also the pinnacle of motorcycle technology and development. Racing crews dedicate their entire lives to creating technologies to shave tenths, if not thousands of a second per lap, all for the sake of victory. But sometimes, sometimes they just want to have fun!
Marc Marquez, a three-time MotoGP world champion for Repsol Honda likes to have a lot of fun. (And when you make the kind of money he makes you get to have a lot of it.) That’s why he agreed to a stunt organized by Red Bull, where he’d get the chance to ride his MotoGP bike at the Hahnenkamm ski competition.
Marquez, a guy that’s pretty much up for anything agreed. That’s when his team began developing necessary parts and adjustments to transform his bike into a sleigh. Even Michelin built some wild studded tires for this outing. You certainly don’t want to get your hands near those bad boys!
