Only 18,000 Miles? Take our money now!

It’s no secret that the first generation Acura NSX used market has soared over the years, especially now that the new second generation has been hitting the streets. NSX enthusiasts all over have been searching far and wide, scrounging them up before prices start to look like used air-cooled 911s. Though, hopefully  they don’t actually go that far. However, if you look to the Internet for what used NSXs are going for, you’ll usually find them in the $40k range. And that’s exactly what this 1995 Acura NSX-T started to sell for at the beginning of the auction on Bring A Trailer.  Not only is this NA1 mint inside and out, but the best part is the number you’ll see on the odometer. This baby only has a staggering 18k miles!

Purchased brand new in Pennsylvania, the original owner kept her NSX for almost two decades until trading it in to Davis Acura, the dealer where she actually got it from. From 2014, Mr. Davis brought the maintenance up to date until the current seller took ownership in February of this year and moved the NSX to Walnut, CA. The seller states that the car would come with a clean California title and Carfax report.

Red is racing, or, at least it gets our hearts racing.

The Formula Red paint looks to be in decent shape minus some rock chips and minor bubbling on the pillars. The seller notes that the front bumper was repainted by the previous owner. There are no indicated accidents on the Carfax, so it was probably just to freshen it up. The suspension still retains all factory components. Additionally, the OEM staggered alloy wheels are in great condition, and wrapped in BF Goodrich tires. The factory removable targa top is in excellent shape as well.

Moving onto the interior, the leather looks great for being 20+ years old with slight wear on the bolsters of the driver seat. All the electronic bits are working properly, with the exception of some crackling in the speakers. The cupholders do need some tinkering as noted by the seller. Also, a hands-free unit has been installed by the previous owner.

Nothing like factory-fresh Honda V6 goodness.

The 3.0L DOHC VTEC V6 engine is untampered with and paired with a slick 5-speed manual gearbox. Service records from 2001 are included, with a major service indicated to have occurred in 2014. It appears the clutch, clutch master cylinder, timing belt, water pump, and drive belts were changed out. The car passed smog with flying colors earlier this year in February.

After 7 days and 10 bids, the price reached $56,000 with the reserve not being met. We think the owner might have wanted $60,000, just a few thousand short of the highest bid. Would you have thrown down $60 for this 18K-mile NSX-T? Let us know on the forum!
