Acura sales thus far are stable in 2018, with a 1.0% sales growth over 2017.

ILX jumped up 22.3% for February 2018, with 904 units sold, versus 739 at this time last year. The new NSX continues to struggle, with dealers moving 17 units in February. For reference, February 2017 saw 46 units sold in the United States. RLX, a nice car that people don’t seem to buy, saw a surprisingly large 46.6% jump in sales this year. Acura dealers sold 151 of them this month, versus 103 in February 2017. TLX sales also increased, to the tune of 16.6%, with 2,794 of them sold this month. We’re guessing it has to do with the very handsome TLX A-SPEC.

Acura’s MDX SUV soldered on this month, moving 3,337 units, a slight 5.8% decrease from last year. Likewise, the smaller RDX saw a 6.5% sales drop. Both models were facelifted for 2016 while the basic underpinnings remained the same. Acura has confirmed that a redesigned 2019 RDX will go on sale later this year. The 2019 RDX “prototype” debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. No news on the MDX, but we likewise suspect an all-new one is in the works for 2019 or 2020.

In total, Acura sold 10,969 vehicles in the month of February.
