a guy around where i live has a setup similar to this... he did it homemade style... seems to run pretty good. seems to be one of the faster all motor cars around. you can check it out here: http://www.homemadeturbo.com/t....html

and i realize on homemadeturbo.com he filled the throttle body injectors holes with JB weld and ran the injectors through the cut manifold....did you make your own manifold and what are the pros/cons for running the injectors in the suzuki holes?

He's using an AEM EMS for tuning. I believe that when they ran them down in South America they hadn't got the tuning down and were just going based on O2 sensor so it was a little rough. BUt he won the race anyway

btw this is my engine builder

Very well I must say. I really did not get to try it much at all, but the little we did was much better mid range and hell of a lot of top end. Comparing to the single throttle body, log style intake manifold. That is the norm of individual throttle body. I just did this to show people out there, that there is a cheap alternative to the expensive throttle bodies. Don’t get me wrong, I am not trying to take anything away from the real racing individual throttle bodies on the market. They are the real deal, but with the Suzuki GSXR 750/1000 throttle body, are the grass root alternative to the real deal.

It’s not that hard to put together at all, it’s really easy. I use the AEM EMS and yes they are the GSXR 750/1000 throttle body. The AEM could be reconfigured to suit any TPS sensor.

Does the throttle body housing bolt right up to the head???? BTW what head are you using, Im not sure if you already mentioned that.

It's a hacked/ported OEM manifold connected to the GSXR TBs

I made a new CNC machined intake manifold flange, welded four 2.3/4 inch long reshaped aluminum tubes to the CNC flange. Running the injectors in the stock GSXR throttle body location, because the further away the injector are from the intake valve. The better the atomization of the fuel air mixture, this will yield more power. Making this set up work with the STOCK style ECU will take some custom tuning. I have never tried using individual throttle body with stock ECU, but I herd of people out there that are doing it with APEX i VAFC or AFC and are quite successful. (Individual throttle body will yield more power with a fully reprogrammable standalone computer.)

No they don’t bolt up. Have to do some work to make them fit, but it’s not hard at all. Have to use a stock manifold and cut off the runners and plenum. Or you can do as I did, made a new flange and work from there. The SUZUKI throttle body can be found in any Bike wreck shop or eBay. They sell generally for around $150 to $250 US dollars. The cylinder head I am using is a GSR.

nice thanks for the info. Do you have the measurement for your custom manifold?

Also, I saw you said there's a problem with the TPS, running the AEM EMS, makes it tunable with the GSXR TPS sensor or am I confused and you mated a GSR TPS plug to the GSXR wiring?
