Final Words: If you follow my How-To's it should take you a 1/4 of my time or less to save all this weight.
I took so long b/c I was learning as i went, and taking pics slows the process down quite a bit.
I spent 20 hours removing my tar b/c every day for a week i would keep going back and spending a few hours trying to remove the whitish caulking around the edges of the cabin. As i mentioned in my tar removal how-to... this step was optional.
I hope this will give hatch owners a visual idea of what each item weighs in their car.
I currently have my dash, sun visors, glove box, 2 stock front seats, and both door panels intact.
Oh and for all of those people curious to see how much the stock passenger's side front seat weighs:
Weight: ~ 31 Pounds:
Peace.

That was a good write up but did you take into a accountablity the weight of the soup cans because they probably are like 16 ounces each, and also the wood because we all know that wood weighs a considerable amount also. Good write up though

Yes i calibrated the scale each time i placed an item on there, and i re-weighed each item to ensure accuracy.

Oh i fogot to mention... Everything I've removed from my car is up forsale!
Items I've sold already:
- Cargo Cover.
- Trunk Lid.
- All of the center console.
Everything else is up for grabs though... headliner is pending... and I won't be selling my passanger's side front seat.
But let's not get O.T. here. If you want something please PM or e-mail me.
Thanks.
- Chris.
