ok now that its done tell us how you did it how much it cost and what parts you used. many might be interested in this becasue for the FWD drag cars 5 lug can be useful for a 4g

I think most people can visualize in their head what 5-lug wheels look like without a picture! Of course I can't speak for everyone...

it's a direct bolt on affair...you need the knuckle assembly with hub, rotor, calipers...and it should all just pop into place...the guy who did it from VancouverPreludeClub...said he replaced the upper control arms too with the 5th gen ones...

i'm going to do it soon, it's pretty pricey though...

there may be another way of doing it...but this is the really easy but expensive way

the axles you have on there now, should just pop into the hub...it did for him anyways

nice, drop that bitch though.

I was thinking of doing this, seems like all the tight wheels are 5 lug=/

not to sound like a noob, but is there any way I can still use my current pads and rotors if I converted to 5 lug?

i'm switching to 5lug...for exactly that reason..."all the tight wheels"...and i think your current rotors will fit, b/c they are vtec sized, but when you purchase the knuckle assembly from the wrecker...it ususally comes with the whole thing, rotor/hub,calipers, even possibly upper control arm, but just check out the prices and that should help you decide...

Yeah since you have a Vtec model your pads, calipers and rotors should work fine. I had to buy those since mine was an SI.

Yes to buying the hub and knuckle. and no to buying the calipers (you can use your old ones, Vtec model only)

Thanks alot bud, your car is one of the hottest 4th gens i have seen. And now my rims could fit your ride. I would love to do this conversion on a 4h gen. if i owned one.
