Default Hx rims on eg with gsr brakes who has done it????
Just like the topic says who has done this wanting to do it with my eg but kind of hesitant about it????

i think GSR brakes are too big for HX wheels, but i could be wrong. you'd be safer doing the swap with 15" wheels then see if you can fit a 14" on there later.

you'll either need spacers or file the brake caliper down some.

94+ Si hatches have 10.1" brakes(same as gsr). I am running HX wheels and i had to shave the caliper some to get them to fit. I sprayed the calipers black after i shaved them so you couldnt see that their shaved.

go to homedepot and get some washers, but those before your put the rim.

No Spacers needed

Only Minor Shaving of Calipers (will not effect strenght properties of calipers)

I have done this to personal cars and for Close friends!

TRUST ME

BTW.....GSR Brakes look great Inside HX Wheels

gsr brake fit behind these wheels nice and good with no shaving or spacing required. They fill THE ENTIRE wheel too. . .

VX Wheels = 13"- 5.0" wide and Weigh ~9.75 lbs

HX Wheels = 14"- 5.5" wide and Weigh ~11.0 lbs


VX wheel are killer, I had them on My EK for awhile, The best tire for them is the 185-60-13 Yokohama AVS, That is one killer tire for the price and it has a 160? TreadWare

Integra's and 92+ EX and SI civics that have 4 wheel disk brakes have the same brakes. 14's should fit on perfectly cause that's what came stock on my car.
