Default Possible Fuel Problem?

Well I was leaving my buddies house and all of a sudden my car turns off..My check engine light is on and the Park, D4, and D3 lights are on in the dash..Fuel pump doesnt turn on so would that be why my car died? I havnt checked what the code is because its too dark outside but then again why would the tranny lights be on......

do the interior lights work and headlights? one of your belts may have broke (alternator) and killed your battery. if it was a fuel problem i would think that at least your fuel pump would try and prime.
