Default Immobilizer location on ecu

My ecu failed, so when I get install the ecu i just bought I'm going to have an ecu with the immobilizer. I have had multiple people confirm that I can desolder the immobilizer circuit from the ecu and solder into the new one. Does anyone know the location of this in the ecu? People have done this with the p72/73. Does anyone have pics of the inside of the ecu?

If it's a P5M it's the daughter board in location HIC1.

It's a P5P. How different can it be? I have no idea where location HIC1 is .

The board is silkscreened. Look at it closely. There should be a box with HIC1 printed next to it. Worst case, post pictures of it.

How hard do you think it will be to perform this operation in this ecu?

I couldn't possibly answer that without knowing how skilled you are with a soldering iron. For me it's less than a 10 minute job.

Has anyone considered figuring out if you can just jump a few pins or use some resistors to completely eliminate the immobilizer?

I have never had to deal w/this problem (I have a 4g) but that would make things much simpler
