Is there an advantage to this over a straight ITB setup?

LOL

Told ya bishes

I'd like to see what lower half work he did to make that thing work....awesome find blake

Looks like he just made an adapter plate, from the look of the air temp sensor, I think he used an OEM bottom half and did some internal work. Sweet

I did a little math because the rpm numbers were left of the sheet (on purpose most likely)

Vtec is at like 6400 and he revs to about 9100. The cams in that thing are beefy as hell.

Very nice . I would belive making the adapter plate would be easy, you pretty much have the IAB plate to work off of. Im interested in what he made to open both throttles at one, and the lower intake manifold modifications in any.

to H series power.

looks like just a simple linkage, and they both open the same direction. i would make them open the other way, however his way prolly has less restiction at full throttle due to the blad being inline with the webs in the lower half of the plenum.

It wouldn't be hard at all to adapt a filter setup to these....a full intake pipe may be another story....

They kinda take the best of both worlds as far as ITBs vs plenum intake manifolds (as far as I'm concerned).

They (somewhat) retain the plenum, which has its own inherent benefits, but the sheer volume of air available to the throttle plates gives an advantage more like ITBs....

I agree, this would not be very hard to construct, the linkage is two simple rods, attached to both throttle rotors, and the cable pulls one of the rotors like it does normally. I would be interested in making more of a "plenum" below the throttles, though it seems as if this setup makes plenty of power as is

you can somewhat see part of the manifold from this view as well.

Am I seeing it right?

Looks like the two throttles stick out of the hood, and under the hood you can see the OEM IAB plate still in place (certainly modified)??
