TW: EG Civic GSR swap Tein HA's VAFC RS*R Detroit Michigan area Cheap
Up for sale is a 92 Civic SI Hatch (sun roof, rear disc brakes etc)
The Good
Engine:
-B18C1 with GSR transmission Pulled from a 1995 Integra. Not sure on the mileage
-P72 ECU. I get GREAT gas mileage. I have got as high as 39MPG (more then once) in the UP where the Speeds are 55mph, and 31ish MPG on the highway. Over the 4th of july weekend, I went up to the UP and received 37mpg on the highway, and 40mpg in the UP.
-Generic Intake with K&N Filter
-ACT Street Lite flywheel (12 lbs)
-Exedy Stage 1 clutch. Basically a slightly firmer then stock clutch.
-RS*R Street Mag Exhaust System. Most quiet performance exhaust on the market
-Integra Full Size Radiator
-del Sol OEM shifter (shortest OEM b-series shifter)
-Carbon Fiber Spark plug cover (good for 30hp )
Suspension:
-TEIN HA Coilovers 8kg front, 6kg rear springs for ITR Chassis
When I bought them, I coated the threads with antiseize and once a year, I disassemble them, and clean and recoat them. The result is absolutely no rust on the threads (these typically rust extremely quickly) and the perches take no effort to move.
-ITR Lower Control Arms
-96 Spec ITR 22mm Rear Sway Bar w/ modified Beak’s Kit
-Skunk2 Rear Strut Bar
-Nuespeed 4pt front Strut bar
- Integra Brakes Pads and rotors replaced about 6000 miles ago
-NEW Tie Rods replaced 6000 Miles Ago
-NEW Upper Control arms (because to replace the top ball joint, you must replace the whole UCA) also 6000 miles ago
For wheels, the wheels pictured will not be included. I have a set of del Sol alloys (newer model) that I will throw on that have some rock hard all seasons on them.
Interior/Electronics
-del Sol Seats w/ Red Stripes. No Tears
-Honda OEM Radio/Cassette Player
-Pioneer Speakers (don’t remember the specs on them as I really don’t care)
-Replaced the worn out inside Key cylinder with an Integra one that I had lying around so there is a key for the ignition and a key for the doors
-VAFC mounted on the dash. Very clean install with no cords showing
Exterior
-Carbon fiber Hood Slight cracking in the clear coat where the hood latch is located. From pressing down to close when the hood latch was miss aligned by past owner. Since, the latch has been fixed.
-PasswordJDM thin side moldings
-Car was painted flat black by the last owner, so I painted it white. It was my first paint job, sanded a little thin in some areas
Now the Bad
-Hit on the passenger side rear tail light. Rear bumper, tail light and rear quarter panel were damaged. I bought a new tail light off ebay
-Rust. This car has a lot of northern miles on it, so the rear has pretty bad Honda rot. Somewhere along the lines, someone tried to cover it up with a shitty bondo job but the rust has come back.
-Front Bumper has a ton of rock chips and one spot where its missing paint.
my $.02 on the car and other random talking. The shell is kinda on the ugly side but the car is extremely quick, would make a great track or autoX car, or do what I have been doing and just used it as a daily driver for the past 15k miles or so because its cheap as hell to drive. I would have no fear driving this car anywhere as I just took it for a 1200 mile round trip this past week (and got great gas mileage) or buy it and use it for the parts.
Now pics
(sorry about the water spot on the lense)

Re: (royale10)
ha small world.
As for the rust, its rusting from the edges and growing from there. I think that these would solve the issues...
