is my LSD busted?
with the front wheels off the ground, and the transmission in 1st, arent both wheels supposed to move in the same direction when you spin one wheel? Also, I let the car run in 1st gear with the wheels off the ground, both wheels were spinning forward, but I was able to stop one wheel with my hand. Is that normal?

That, and when you spin one wheel, what is the other doing? Staying still or spinning the opposite way?
If your LSD is busted, it's a pretty good chance you're going to hear some things clanging around in there when you drive (if you are even able to), or spin the wheels. Mine certainly went out with a bang.

when I spin one wheel, the other wheel spins in the opposite direction. Transmission does not make any sounds when spinning.

Re: is my LSD busted? (See Are X)
depends on lsd, if i remember like a quaife 8 pinion will spin the other way, i believe type-r is this way, and a friction lsd will do the same. but i also might not be remembering correctly

A clutch type will both spin the same direction.
