i was wondering what head stud would i use with this combination? i was thinking gsr ones? can someone help me out on this....thanks!

B-16. The heads have the same height, the block are different. This is a "FACT" not a guess.

Hey Don,

When I called ARP, they told me its the "head" the dictates which "head stud" to go with. I found it odd. My old build was a b16 bottom end with a gsr head using gsr head studs. Could there be any other factors to take into consideration other then the block height?

The B-16 has less thread depth than a B-18 block. It is shorter, sales reps at companys do not know every application. Not to say it will not work, but you are at the bottom of the stud threads, THE BLOCK decides the correct stud. FACT not opinion. Just tring to help. Do what you want.
