Nice 'Ning Have you done that mod (forgot what it is) where it keeps the boot on boil in between shifts. I was reading about it somewhere.

Yes, and you prolly read my explanation of it on some random thread on here not long ago. Its the FTVB, Factory Tech Valve Body, and its a replacement valve body that really tightens up shifts. Helps out alot, reduces internal wear, prevents boost drop between shifts, and allows you to tear up 2nd gear with the auto. Its a great mod, win-win.

Don't take this the wrong way but do any other tails work for that truck. Never cared for the 'Tezza style tails on those.

No offense taken. I always told myself one of the first things id do when i got my truck is lose the tails. But they are stock right from the factory, and the 99-00 tails look ok, but after having the truck for a while now, they have grown on me. Thanks for the input

Thanks

Speaking of that, it was the workhorse on our fishing trip to Canada this year. Towed our 19' Fish and Ski Starcraft loaded with crap, the bed was chucked full of crap and 2 people in the cab. She never missed a beat, and still probably could have run a high 13
