My wife and i have been married for 14 years this past wedensday and for a anniversary gift she got me some time at beaver run roadcourse for a test drive day.
basically it was some go karting, autocrossing(in their mazda 6's) and some track time in their cars(old impala police car and a turbo awd mazda 6) and then some "spirited" parade laps in our personal cars. so all in all it was a really fun day that beaver run put together and after spending some time on a track thats longer than 1320 feet i think my days of expo fence leaning are over i can start saving my pennies for some expo track time heres some pictures: ![]() some karting ![]() some autocrossing ![]() ![]() and some track time ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() then we finished the day out with some lunch at jerry's curb service, complete with the tray of food hanging off the window(and french fries in between my seats and console )![]() |

How very cool. Your wife =
. That looks like a blast, much more relaxed than a typical track weekend since you do not have to worry about maintenance. I especially like this statement:Quote:

they had a Mini day up there on saturday, besides being able to run on the big track that had the autocross course set up and they were allowed to take the minis on the go kart course for some "coneless" autocross action. so anywhere at anytime they had something for everyone to do,which i thought was pretty nice for those that didnt want or couldnt afford to take theirs cars on the big track. |
