so ive searched and found nothing..but since im gettin a really good deal on a yellow top optima battery for 50bucks i was wondering if anyone ever relocate a battery in the 01-03 civics before? ive seen pics around here a while ago but i couldnt find it anymore.. and another thing is its a optima battery off a 94-00 integra wich is smaller than the 01-03 civics. i was thinkin of going to homedepot and pick up some sheet metal and bend it around the battery to create a holder and have it mounted somewhere any opionion or suggestion?
i was thinkin about something similar to this: http://passwordjdm.com/Passwor....aspx

there is a whole tread devoted to battery relactions i believe it is in the appearance/cosmetic section.
mine is reloacated to the panel behind the drivers seat. i doubt an optima battery will fit tho.

I put mine in the trunk...
![]() That is before turbo...give you a lot of room for the CAI... ![]() gives you a lot of room for the IC piping...Put it in the trunk make engine bay look a lot more open and nicer |

ya if your leaving the fuse block you just need to extend the power wire. if you relocate the fuse block its a bit more work.
4 gauge would be fine i'd think unless you have a big draw from your amp.

ive done it to my es2...but then again i have it done on my k swap....so my fuse box is inside the car and my red top is in the trunk. i used 2 guage wire from the battery to a distribution block...then 4 guage wire from the block to the starter anbd alternator and also to the fuse box.
