Default SRS light help please!

hey ht, i recently purchased an f1spec seat and am having trouble installing it in my 01 es2. i got a set of free sliders and side mounts to fit the seat and will be needing brackets. is there anyplace in norcal or online where i can order a legitimate "universal" bracket? any help would be appreciated. pics may be taken upon request. thanks in advance!

EDIT:

so there are 3 cables i need attached: 2 for the seatbelt and 1 for the side airbag on the seat. i installed the seatbelt and the 2 cables for that, what do i do with the third cable? and am i able to turn off the srs light some how without running the side airbag? thanks

You'll probably need seat rails for your car. I did, for my Recaro's. Bride makes them for the EP3, and they're almost an exact fit.

The front bracket, nearest the exhaust tunnel is off by about an inch. You can either weld on a new tab and drill it out for the bolt, or you can drill a hole through the mounting point, and put a long bolt through.

Well, my rails are previous gen. Bride rails, so I'm not 100% certain as to if they're more universal.

alright. i appreciate the help and prompt replies

i thought the universal sliders and mounts would work on my stock brackets so i went ahead and gutted my seat like an idiot without checking. i couldn't work it on and needed it put back by sunday for school so i couldn't order anything online.

what i ended up doing was taking the stock bracket to a muffler shop friend of mine and had him torch the 4 little brackets off. i then bolted them on and had him weld the sliders right on top of the little brackets, bolted my mounts on the sliders, and then seats last. works like a charm though i don't expect it to hold up the flexing as well as any aftermarket sparco or recaro bracket but it gets the job done. again, thanks matt

the correct bracket you need is probably a flat bracket, such as something made by sparco or corbeau. those are the ones that usually work with flat sliders, if your sliders have mounting tabs, youll need a tabbed bracket like something made by wedge engineering. All the brands I listed make them specifically for the em/es cars, so no modding is needed. As for the airbag, you can't do anything about it. The side airbag circuit is seperate from the front bags, so they should still be functional, but there isn't anything you can do about it..safely. I mean, i guess you can cover up the side airbag light..
