Default problem with gas door on 05 ex sedan

when i press the lever for the gas door to open on my 05 ex sedan, it doesnt open. is it the cable? the mechanism inside the car or just a simple adjustment. it worked fine for 3 months since i bout it, then one day it didnt. no apparent cause. anyone else had similiar problem?

Try pushing the door open by hand while somebody pulls the release lever. If it opens, then the spring clip inside the door popped loose. If it dosen't open, it's the cable.
