i get the feeling you didnt measure any clearences .

did you check the oil pump to make sure the o-ring was good ?
did you check the seal on the oil pump that the crank slides into ?

your missing a black oring at the left most tip of the pump.

also when you install the pump you need to check for .002 clearence all the way around the crankshaft seal

no problem make sure you have ATLEAST two .002 feeler guages when checking the end play of the crank seal place the feeler guages on opposite sides of each other and walk them around the crank seal

yo dude, everything went smooth, cranked the car back up, no leaks at all, drove it around for the first time cameback and there was no leaks.

i have a small little tiny leak that i beleive is coming from the oil pan gasket, i bought a cheap ebay one so that might be it. but its no biggie

thanks for the help

I get the feeling your not following a HELMS manual.

You must tighten the oil pan bolts/nuts in a specific sequence to even the pressure applied to the gasket. I've used a cheap Autozone oil pan gasket in the past, install it correctly and have no leaks.

well dude, i tighten them in that sequence and i figured that it wanst leaking anything, it was just oil there from when my oil pump was still leaking fallin on my driveway.

so my ebay gasket is good.
