hey guys i thought i heard the noise coming from the main relay, but apparently its coming from the steering wheel, because i got a new relay. anyway my car might crank 2 times out of the 200 trys. every once is a while you can hear some electronic gadget failing coming from the steering wheel. im thinking its that harness or switch or whatever. how can i test that, also its just a pizza delivery car is there any quick fix around it, how do i change it if thats the problem. for the past two weeks ive been parking on hills and popping the clutch, thats getting old, thanks for any help.
or does this even sound like my problem? basically sometimes i turn the key and get nothing, and sometimes i turn the key and it makes a funny "failing" noise from the steering wheel. and every once in a while it will turn over Modified by rolledthatho at 8:08 PM 9/7/2008 |

open up the column and look to see if the back of the switch looks like loose wires or cracked solder. its a common problem, just replace it

Yeah just go to you're local Honda dealer and buy a new Ignition harness. It's a simple fix.
