Default Metra Hidden Antenna HU wire color?

I got a hidden antenna and hooked up everything but my fuse (under the steering wheel) keeps blowing. The gauge lights and city lights won't work. I probably splice the wrong wire (white and blue i think).

Which wire in the HU do i splice to connect the little black wire?

Thanks in advance.

I hate electrical

It should be a blue or blue/white lead, [power ant. control lead]

Pull the HU and make sure the red/black lead in the stock radio harness, [orange wire if you have the adapter] is not shorting to ground, the red/black is the stock illumination lead and is hot when park/head lights are on. 94

Not working no wires are cut only the blue/white one. Nothing else is grounded. Same thing happened.

Its a stock CD deck. Is the Blue/White wire the right wire? Am i suppose to disconnect the old stock antenna?

Any more advice?

If it is a stock HU the power ant. control lead will be brown/white, careful, there are 2 brown/white leads, the one you want has 12V+ on it when the radio is on.

There should be no blue/white lead for the stock radio, only a blue/green, [left front speaker pos.(+), do not use it.

Yes you will have to disconnect the stock ant.

If your car does not have a stock power or amplified ant. there may not be an ant. control lead, [brown/white] if not just use an acc. power lead, [yellow/red in stock radio harness. 94
