when I sold my 98 accord @100K it was still on it's original plugs. Timing belt change is 105K although most dealers will tell you do it at 120K (same time as you change plugs)

I would drain and refill the tranny, since you have a semi-high mileage car. The 6th gen V6 is notorious for having tranny issues. Use only Honda ATF (buy at the dealer), drain and refill it 3x and whatever you do don't do a flush. For preventive maintenance, I would change it every 10-15k thereafter. Also, if you start noticing tranny issues, take it to a Honda dealership. 98-01 have a warranty to 100k. Also, with all the issues on 6th gen V6 trannies, I would not beat on the car.

98 and 02 cars are considered on a case by case basis only. Due to recent settlement warranty was extended to 7 year 9 months or 109K

Thanks for all the info but what are the plugs of choice on this car and are there any plug wire sets that may give me some slight gains in power or mileage. Thanks again for all of your information.Nolan
