ok well I’ve had her for as long as i could and it is time to move on... i recently bought a 04' s2000 and need to sell my sol. i would also like to note that the sol feels just as fast as my new S2000. First off i would like to say that the car should be thought of as a project car or parts car. as it sits now it needs TLC but runs awesome... you could drive the car as is or remove the many parts and do with what you like. this car is not a lemon, it has never needed major work.
Odometer reads 260,000 + miles
GSR motor has about 115,000 miles (runs awesome, never had one single problem after install) "Vtec hits hard!"
The good:
Trough the years i have custom upgraded many things on the car.
-USDM B18C1 GSR motor installed (runs awesome)
-GSR Fuel pump to accommodate the swap.
-aftermarket intake
-front upper/lower GSR strut bar, rear aftermarket upper bar.
-full custom interior Red/black (i've many compliments)
-full GSR brake up grade (front and back)
-the first Cabin bar ever made: installed. also custom fabricated B pillar panels to accommodate the bar.
-full suspension including eibach springs, AGX shocks & struts; front and rear adjustable camber equipment and adjustable toe equipment in the rear. no camber wear on the tires!!
-96 front bumper upgrade
-aftermarket one piece black housing headlights + OEM headlights in good condition in box
-for fun i added a very loud trucker’s horn (sounds awesome)
-4 excellent condition 15" Gold Rota Wheels. 2 tires have 95% tread, 2 have 45% tread.
-front MG style lip (needs paint)
-side MG style skirts
-JDM EG side markers (installed clean)
if you reach asking price i will throw in:
-Viper Alarm, remote keyless entry installed
-Clarion CD Deck + Cerwin Vega speakers installed... (sound awesome)
-ipod/Mp3 plug in.
The bad:
-the car needs a new paint and minor body work/dent removal. + TLC
- as a note the car was in a accident in the past but has been fix and as stated earlier runs great, the car has a clean title.
-the shocks and struts are Blown and need to be replaced. the car is bouncy and squeaky but drives fine otherwise.
-Hood, not in great condition.
-due to OBD2 motor in OBD1 car, smog needs to be handled by the buyer, or register the car as non operational.
Asking $5000---reduced to $4,000
