A/C CREATING PUDDLE, STRANGE NOISE Author Post AXEL276 Offline 6 posts [100%] WEST ISLIP NY 2-22-2007   A/C CREATING PUDDLE, STRANGE NOISE « » 2:06 PM 7/24/2008 Reply  Edit The A/C on my 07' Fit has started creating a puddle on the passenger side floor. I can see water dripping from the interior A/C duct. It's also making a strange noise when I make a hard left turn, it sounds like the fan is hitting something. Granted it has been very hot and humid here on Long Island and I'm thinking it must be condensation related but I should not have water on the floor. I guess it will have to go back to the dealer and have them take a look. Anyone else experience this problem?

That strange noise when you turn left is your blower fan hitting water when it rushes to that side. Look under your dash and see if you can find the drain line. Should be a large black tube. If may have snagged on someones foot or maybe you snagged it when you were vacuuming? Just be careful you don't pull it all the way out or else you'll have a floorboard full of water. Been there done that on my old WRX when I was having the same problem.
