Just want to add couple points to Hondadude's detail explanation.Be careful not to damage the blades (the round thing connected to the motor). It would be tight getting it in and out of the position. You will need a small alen wrench to detach the blade from the old motor and attach it to the new motor.
If the new motor is not OEM, then make sure you have the positive and negative terminals correct. Because the OEM motor is a plug in. Non-OEM motor just has two seperate connectors.
