5 Minute Headlight Oxidation Removal...
kinda like this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1867850 ... but less time consuming and faster results.
for those who read my posts from time to time you may have caught the fact that i do detailing for a mazda dealership. with that being said, i give my 5 min. headlight cleaning thread for the people who don't want to deal with the kits and the sandpapers and all that garbage.
Pics and Text. & Might I Add, No Shut Talking. Thank You.
Both Heads Before
Right Head (Sorry For Bluriness)
Left Head
As you can see, i put the compound on the towel. Obviously after that i applied to the headlight (light coat) & I used a high speed buffer
I decided to take pics of the left head being done since it was the clearer image
Any Difference?
Both Heads After
I Don't Know, It Was The Next Pic In Line..
Cleaning Up The Bay, Vunerables Properly Covered.
Bathe Baby, Bathe!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before anyone says anything:
1. yes, i do need and i am getting a new front bumper
2. yes, those are the apc corners and i do not approve of them
3. yes, the car did have hood pins prior to me buying
4. no, i have not started working on the exterior of my car yet.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i hope i gave the lazy man a quickstrike-effective way to knock off oxidation with ease. i do it twice a month.
oem_certified giving back to the HT community, thank you

you got me on that one sush, my biggest concerns were my plugs and filter. seeing as how ive seen engines go cold the minute water hit the plugs, and gurgle / bog when the filter caught some leakage.

I have used Meguiars Plastx or Scratchx with paper towels and had good results in a few minutes. A good detail if low on time.

I used this one 5 min. kit from Clear Vision chemicals. You basically sand it down and then polish it. It worked like a charm. I got it at Advanced Auto Parts for 20 bucks.
