those kits get burnt up from the heat, and wont protect from a rock that would break the lense.

it says that they cut the size down due to the heat that comes off the foglights***Due to the high temp output from these fogs, the kit will be appx 1/8" smaller than the lens to allow for heat dissipation. Also, to prevent burning, turn fog lights off if vehicle will be stationary for more than 15 minutes.***

Yeah the only reason I have not purchased fog lights for my coupe is because they are easily broken. After seeing this, I may have to reconsider...

I duno what dealer you went to, but none around here replace the fogs... getting them broke is considered road hazard and only covered by insurance.

They'll cover failure for 4 years, but like Demonis said if they crack or chip it might as well be body damage. Dealer won't fix them. All Dealers cover parts malfunction, but not damage / wear and tear.

Well like it shows in the DIY on club rsx, you trace the fog lamps oval onto the lexan then you cut it out, and you have to grind down the rest, basically i just kept grinding and then trying to fit it into the lamp until i had the right shape. Luckily I thought ahead and traced my finished product onto the lexan so next time (the other lamp) i wont have to grind so much. The lexan grinds really easy, if you have a decent grinder. Like shaving butter.
