This may be a dumb question, but I just got the car....
so its its yellow, flashed when you first started the car then wnet off.Now it stays on.From a 97' Civic I had if I remember right, its just a basic reminder light for regular service. But I don't know how the heck to turn it off.

Alright- about five second after posting this I found the answer:

For 98-01 accords:
1. For the first 6000 miles after completion of scheduled maintenance and indicator light reset, the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED reminder light will illuminate when ignition is turned on, and then will go out after 2-10 seconds.Between 6000 and 7500 miles, the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED reminder light will flash for 10 seconds, and then will go out. After exceeding 7500 miles without having scheduled maintenance performed, light will remain on until it is reset.

2. When service has been completed, reset M.R. light. To reset light, turn ignition off.Press and hold SELECT/RESET button. On Accord, button is located on right side of instrument cluster.

3. While still holding buttons, turn ignition on with engine off.Hold button for 10 seconds until indicator resets.

Hope this helps someone out!
