Well I am sure you have all heard the name Tanabe before and I am sure most of you would agree that they offer one of the best suspension line out there. And they are not just ones that talk, but they back it up with their drifting 240sx that proves that their suspension is top of the line.

What makes Tanabe so great? Well first off they offer something most companies only wish they could... All their stuff are MADE IN JAPAN. They offer the best material and their quality craftsmanship is found in all their suspension parts, which is also certified by the highest manufacturing standard in the world

Now for those wondering the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 Coilvers, they differ in what Tanabe calls "Helper Springs". A "Helper Spring" is an extra Red spring that goes with the dampener. In the pictures you can see the difference. Now some ask how that little spring is worth that much and really how much it can do? Well the idea and concept does make a large difference, but it also depends on the road condition. Those who are looking for the MOST EXTREME comfort should go for the Type 1, but those who have good road conditions or doesn't really care, but wants to lower their car at the most cost efficient should go with Type 2.

Now the difference between Tanabe Pro S-S and the Tanabe Pro S-OC is that the S-OC is Non-Ride Comfort Adjustable. The S-OC has a set spring rate, but it designated only for ride height adjustable. The S-S however is to adjust both Ride Comfort and Ride Height.
