What of the following offsets and widths is best for an EG Hatch?
All 5x114.3
SW388 16" 7.0J+45
SW388 16" 7.0J+35
SW388 16" 8.0J+45
Can anyone give me some advice as to which would be the best for an EG Hatch lowered with cusco zero 2's?
Thanks heaps for any assistance.

I myself would go with the 16x7.0 +45 since it is a Eg hatch.
+40-+45 seems to work best with 7" wheels from my experience.
It should keep you from rubbing, but i would go with a 205/40/16 or 205/45/16 tire.

Thanks heaps guys, appreciate it as im inexperienced with offsets and widths of wheels.
I'll try get a set of 16" 7.0J+45 if i possibly can.
The other sizes would also work with an EG hatch though wouldnt they?

Re: (_BEN_)
Guys, sorry to bump up an oldish thread but i need some quick important advice!
Ive been looking for a set of these for a while and a local trader has found some but this is what they are:
16x7 +45 114.3/5 fronts
16x8 +45 114.3/5 rears
205 and 225 Advan AD07 rubber.
Anyone know if this would work on an EG Hatch?
Would it look bad with an 8" wheel on the rear with a 7" on the front?
I dont even know if the 8" fits on the EG.
Please help!!

Wow! That's WAY too big for an EG hatch (although it's fine for an Integra or '96-00 Civic). The proper 16" size for an EG hatch is 205/40-16, and the new Azenis are available in that size.

Maybe he got those tires from overseas? You won't be able to get them from North American Yokohama dealers; the only 16" size available here is 175/55-16. So if you need to replace a single tire, it's going to be difficult; you'll have to find a shop that imports them (or else replace all four, so you don't drive around with mismatched tires).

I didn't have any serious rubbing issues and as you can see the car was sitting lower than stock. It was not slammed though and I was running a very stiff suspension setup (Ohlins). Something with a softer street suspension would probably have issues.
I took that into consideration when all I wanted was a low comfortable ride. I then went with a different wheel tire combo. 205/50/15

Thats exactly what i needed to be told.
I didnt purchase them. Ill keep looking.
Thanks guys.
So the best fit 16" spoon wheel on an EG would have to be 7" in width with a +45 offset.

Yes, that's about the size of it.
Spoon's original Desmond purchase in 16x7 +45 was precisely designed for the DC2 project cars using 215 and 225 section tyres, so it should also be perfect for your EG.
