Default WILL THEY FIT???

94 eg hatch si

i like the look of the xxr 527 16x8.25 0mm offset

I'm on air ride 4" drop (max)

camber can be adjusted but i don't want to much

fenders can be rolled

maybe stretch a 185/40/16 ?

WILL THEY FIT?

I am purchasing a 92 eg hatch next week. She is on skunk 2 coils and adjustable camber arms. I'm going to try aND get the guy I'm buying it from to zero out the camber and lift it to just no wheel gap. My question is what offset wheels will sit flush with fender? I want to run 16x8 or 17x8 wheels probably wrapped in some 205/35/16? I don't know what tire size would be best truthfully I just want to be able to clear everything. Previous owner was butterfly cambered and stanced so my assumption is that his fenders were rolled at one point. My first Honda so excuse me and sorry if any of the numbers are bizarre and it seems like I don't know what I'm talking about.thanks for the help

What would be the best choice for my 95 EJ2? I'm running a 15x8.25 0 offset wheels with a 165/45. I'm stretching of course, but I wanna aim for a flush look now. What width and/or offset should I get for my car? Tire size too of couse. I'm running on F&F Type 1s.

Don't go with 17s.. They will look funny I promise. They're too big. Wheel offset is going to differ from wheel to wheel depeding on how long of lip and brand of wheel. And it depends on if you want to roll fenders or not. You could make stock wheels flush to fender with spacers if you wanted.

If I were you... Find the wheels that you want (15-16" recommended) if you like the deep wide tire look then go for it.. But you will have a little work in front of you to get them to fit. If the wheels you get sent flush with where your fender is, measure distance between fender and tire to see what millimeter spacer you need.

Use tyrestretch.com to see tire/wheel setups.. If you like stretched tires

Either more low by coilovers, more camber by aftermarket camber kit, or closer to fender using spacer. These three will help you achieve the look you want.

Tyrestretch.com to see what stretch setup you like. 👌

I have a rear camber kit at the moment. What size wheels/tires would be a good choice to get so I wouldn't have to stretch and get that "static" look? That's what I've seen them call it. Haha.

Basically you can put any size wheel/tire you want. All you have to do to get the "static look" (fender close as possible in between tire and lip of rim)...Which is what I'm going for.. Is to go rent a fender roller.. Look up some vids on how to do it. And keep GRADUALLY rolling your fender little by little and in between checking fitment.

Most likely with 8.25 wheels (xxr wheels I'm guessing) you going to have to roll the fender a good bit, and maybe a little extra camber so it looks right.. But that's your preference.

Btw.. Your probably going to have to cut your fender well if you go so low.. Rotating grinder will fix that

I have a 100% stock 1988 CRX with stock suspension (may add coilovers but not going super low). I've got a set of 195-50-15 tires on wheels that I'm not a fan of...and would like some recommendations on the best wheels size (width, offset) that will look aggressive but not give me any clearance issues. A bit of tire stretching is fine, but nothing severe..main things is I don't want any scraping.

Suggestions?

I've attached a pic for reference

As it is not my car, I do not know for certain. I would wager between 1.5 to 2.0 inch drop.

Were you planning on running the same tire on both pairs of wheels?

I wouldn't run anything other then staggered width tires to match the staggered width wheels... but that's my opinion.

Congrats on finding one of my favorite wheel sets for this chassis. I've been so close to pulling the trigger on a set (with these specs) so many times that I've lost count.

So your best bet, IMO, is going to be a 215/40 fr and a 195/45 rear. Yokohama has those in the S.drive model. The diameters are 22.7fr & 22.8rr, which is about a 1/2" shorter than the stock 195/55r15 at ~23.25 (which I hate on lowered Civics, personally).

If you are super slammed and need more clearance, or just like rubber band tires, I just noticed they also have a 215/35 and a 195/40. That should net you about another 1/2" of fender clearance, according to their spec sheet.

16" tires, especially in sizes that fit our cars, are pretty sparse. I really like these tires for a street car. They do everything pretty well, have a respectable tread life, and the price point is good. I just wish I could find a 235 tire in a 23" diameter tire (235/30R16?). One can dream, right?

P.S. here's the spec sheet:

I made you a pretty detailed suggestion for a staggered set.

I was looking at some diamond racing 16×8 for a 91 hatch. I like the look on yours. Do you know if the same offset will give the same general result on the 91? I'm not sure just how much difference there is in the suspension/wheel well/height from your generation and mine.

Default 15x9 too wide for ek hatch?

planning on getting a staggered look for my midori hatch, i was wondering if I should run
15x8 et20 for rear
15x9 et15 for front
because the rims I want only come in 15x9 or 15x8. so I want to know if the 15x9's would look ugly or stupid wide.(side note: not really about that "stance" life) I was planning to buy J's Racing Fenders for the front if the 15x9 doesn't look stupid.
thanks in advance!

yeah i would think they would fit but not without modification or camber. what wheels are you getting anyway?
