I know a 205 and 215 will fit this size wheel but I just wanted to see if any of you have some close up up pictures of different size tire combinations to see exactly how they look on a 16x8 wheeel. For example 205/40, 205/45, 215/40, or 215/45?? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should buy the proper size tire for your CAR, not just what fits on the wheel.

Also, some of the tire sizes you mention are not approved for use on a 16x8 wheel.

If you'd like to tell us what kind of car you have - year, model, version - we can tell you what is the best 16" tire size for your car, and whether or not it is safe to mount it on a 16x8 wheel.

Yup. 215/45-16 is the only size that will fit your car and those wheels. 205/45-16 will also fit your car, but shouldn't be used on wheels wider than 16x7.5. That's why 16x7 (or 16x7.5) is a better wheel width for your car, because it will give you the ability to use 205/45-16 or 215/45-16 (and there's a much wider selection in 205/45-16 than 215/45-16).

205/40-16 and 215/40-16 are too small for your car.
