Default re-powder coating wheels

so i've heard that powder coating wheels can weaken them and make them brittle. if i were to re-powder coat some previously powder coated wheels, how bad could it be?

Its all about the prep man. If you have access to a sandblaster I would do that.

no this doesnt have anything to do with prep work. heating up wheels and cooling them back down through that whole process. it can make the wheels more brittle i guess?

O my bad, i thought you had powder coated your wheels before and made the powdercoat brittle/flake off. I misread where you were talking about the actual wheel. Reading owned me.
