Default Question about proper lugs

Hello,

I have a 98 honda civic dx and got myself a set of 14 inch LS Mesh wheels (From what I understand at least... from an integra, not sure what year though.) and was under the impression I needed tapped lugs. I've since been told otherwise, as the guy who I had put my tires on told me they look like tapped seatings but feel like a ball seating. Needless to say I have a set of wrong lugs and lock nuts and would like a way around buying a new set.

I came across these (http://www.pacificcustoms.com/mm5/me...gory_Code=6HWD) adapters that look like they may work. However the descriptions mention a 5-lug wheel? where mine are 4-lug.

My lock lugs are the McGard Regular Cone ones found here (http://www.mcgard.com/Applications/A...1MC%2bkg%3d%3d)

My wheels have this on the inside:
14 x 5 1/2 JJ
off 45
8R3-4550

Thanks in advanced,

Honda factory wheels are almost always ball-seat lug wheels. And, even though you'd get 20 adapters with that order, you'd only need to use 16. So, you'd have spares.

Yes, getting spares seems like the way to go.

Have you had experience with these? I don't see why there would be an issue but that's just my thought, someone without much car experience.

Thanks again

Personally, I haven't touched adapters. I typically buy lug nuts for the wheel type I have, before going the route of an adapter.
