Default OG San wheels

So are they decent or junk knock offs of Enkei92s?

Also, spec shows 35mm offset, but tirerack states this "Aggressive tuner style wheel fitment! This will require fender and alignment work to fit. The wheel and tire will stick out of the fenders!"

I thought the Stock Del Sols were 39mm offset is 4 mm really going to stick outside the fenders?

What width are the wheels?

They're mediocre knock-off's. The finish is pretty weak, but the build quality isn't the absolute worst.

If you're looking at tire rack for wheels, you could just look up the enkei 92s...

The OG San is a 15x7" ET35, where the OE Del Sol wheels were 14x5.5 ET45. The San would give you 9mm less clearance inside and extend an extra 29mm outboard.
The Enkei92 is a 15x7 ET38. That gives you 12mm less inner clearance and extend 26mm farther out from your stockers.

Get it I, wasn't considering the extra 1.5 inches of width.

It seems the math does not work on these.

If width = 7 (178 mm) and offset =35mm as listed on site

then backspace should equal 1/2 width + offset or 178/2 + 35=124mm which equals 4.88 inches not 5.35

I believe 5.35 would be an 8 inch wide wheel

I see what you're doing there, and the math is correct, but there are some variables left out. Wheel width is measured from bead seat to bead seat, not from outside lip to outside lip. Backspacing is measured from outside lip to mounting face, so a ~1/2" difference is expected if you're doing the raw calculations the way you did. So it is for sure a 15x7 ET35 with a 5.35" backspace.

From tirerack website

Backspacing, similar to offset, is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel (measured in inches).

You're arguing with a TireRack rep? You really think he doesn't know what he's talking about?

He is right, I do see that on the website, but it seems there's some misinterpretation. That sentence refers to the inside lip, but that isn't the bead seat. The inside lip would be the side of the wheel closer to the strut, as opposed to the outside lip, which you can see when the wheel is mounted on the car.
