Need helps with tires on 16x7 wheel
205/55ZR16 -
225/55ZR16 -

i don't know whether i should go with 205/225/245?

It depends on what kind of car you have.
Is this is for the GS-R, then get 205/45-16. Some tires come in 215/45-16 and not 205/45-16, and you can use that too.

Thanks Nsxtasy..you're the man! i've read most of your post on tires.
right now my current setup is 17'' Gramlight Pro 57s with Tein SS i don't know the previous owner dropped....it look pretty big and heavy now i got 16" Advan RG and doesn't know what tires i should go with.

So... is this for your GS-R?
And what are you looking for in a tire? Only for maximum traction and handling on dry pavement? Or do other factors matter, like traction in rain, treadlife, price, etc? Do you have separate winter tires (or another vehicle to use in winter conditions)?

yeah on a GSR well it's only gonna be for mostly summer driving..i was thinking of Yokohama ES100 any more suggestions? TIA

The Yokohama ES100 is good, but I think the Kumho Ecsta SPT is a better choice. It's less expensive ($71 vs $85 in 205/45-16), is better on wet pavement, and has a higher treadwear rating (although the ES100 is still very good in both those areas).
