Looking for some recommendations on all season tires for a 2007 Accord LX. The tire size is 205/60/16.

The other question I have is how much of a difference there would be between 205/60/16 and 205/55/16 tires. My wife has a set of tires that we have been really happy with but they do not make them in a 205/60 size.

In 205/60-16, you can get the Goodyear Eagle GT, which is one of the best all-seasons around. It's not horribly expensive ($95 each with free shipping from Discount Tire Direct) and it comes with a 50K-mile treadlife warranty. Again, the precise, complete name is the Goodyear Eagle GT. (They have some other tires which contain Eagle and GT as part of the names, but that's the exact name of this all-season.)

It sounds like there's no compelling reason to go smaller, especially since the Eagle GT is available in your size. But to answer your question, the 205/55 is smaller in diameter by over 3 percent (that's significant) so it will change the accuracy of your speedometer and odometer by that percentage, and will also reduce your ground clearance slightly, make your acceleration slightly better but your fuel economy slightly worse, etc. I wouldn't.
